CORINTH – Madeline “Maggie” E. Ellison, 74, died Dec. 15, 2012, at her residence. She was born May 20, 1938, in Calais, the daughter of Kenneth and Esther (Harriman) Wheelock.
Nana enjoyed cooking for family, friends and especially her grandchildren. She was employed by the city of Bangor for many years at Bangor City Nursing Home and retired from Bangor City Code Enforcement Office.
She is survived by two sons, Richard and Karl Smith; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one brother, Earl; and one sister, Debbie. She was predeceased by her husband, Sterling “Randy” Ellison.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Funeral Home. Interment will be in the family lot at Mount Hope Cemetery.
