ORONO AND GLENBURN – Roger Dale Kelley, 60, died Dec. 16, 2012, in Orono, after a period of declining health. He was born April 12, 1952, in Bangor, and the foster son of Clyde and Dorothy (Nowell) Thayer.
Roger was raised in Glenburn and worked around the home despite his disability.
He is survived by his foster family, Loraine Bryce, Phyllis McAvey and husband, Kenneth, all of Hermon, and Ida Daigle of Kenduskeag; and special friends, Steven Frost and Dennis Frost of Glenburn. He was predeceased by a foster brother, Milton Thayer.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at Birch Grove Cemetery, Merryman Road, Glenburn. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor.
