FORT KENT – Bryant Babin, 59, died peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family Dec. 15, 2012. He was born Sept. 11, 1953, the son of the late Kenneth and Dora (Paradis) Babin.
He was a past member of Fort Kent Knights of Columbus. Bryant enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, gardening, playing Charlie, dam de pic, and putting up Christmas decorations outside his home. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Claudette Gagnon Babin of Fort Kent; three children, Shawn Babin of Fort Kent, Stacy and husband, Glen Raymond, of Fort Kent, Tina and husband, Kristofer Siering, of Baileyville; eight brothers and sisters, Clayton and wife, Lorraine Babin, of Fort Kent, John and wife, Lynn Babin, of Fort Kent, Glenda and husband, Norman Lafrance, of Fort Kent, Mark and wife, Claudette Babin, of Fort Fairfield, Melvin Babin of Fort Kent, Carl and wife, Karen Babin, of Fort Kent, Paul Babin and companion, Roy Strahan, of Colorado, and Gary Babin of Fort Kent; six grandchildren, Kendra, Alyssa, Ethan, Victoria, Nikolas and Sophia; many nieces, nephews, cousins and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10:45 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, until time of service at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent.
