CARIBOU – Geneva Guillemette, 89, died Dec. 19, 2012, in Caribou. She was born July 19, 1923, in Caribou, daughter of the late Dennis and Ozite (Belanger) Morin.
Mrs. Guillemette was employed at Victory Restaurant, Caribou, for a number of years, as well as Potato Service. She was a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Catholic Golden Age. She was also a former member of Lister Knowlton Post 9389 Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children, Ronald Guillemette of Deltona, Fla., Donald Guillemette and his wife, Rose, of Caribou, Diane Palioti and her husband, John, of Coventry, R.I., and Tammy Garvey and her husband, Bob, of Deland, Fla.; one stepson, Ted Guillemette and his wife, June, of New Brunswick, Canada; 28 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, including two special great-grandchildren, Kooper and Alanna; a special friend and caregiver, Yvette Lagasse of Caribou; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Guillemette was predeceased by three sons, Stanley, Gaylon and Edward Jr.; two stepsons, Austin and Averett; as well as numerous brothers and sisters.
Friends may call 9 a.m. until time of services Saturday, Dec. 22, at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will be at Old Holy Rosary Cemetery. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com
