CARIBOU – Yolanda Gisele Patane Geraw, 85, died Dec. 20, 2012, in Caribou, after a period of declining health. She was born March 26, 1927, in Chalain, France, daughter of the late Charles and Mary Louise (Ferrario) Thomas.
Mrs. Geraw was a seamstress in New York for many years. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Micheline Patane of Connor and Roger and Debbie Patane of Wappingers Falls, N.Y.; one sister, Suzanne Bosse and her husband, Andre, of Quebec; four grandchildren, Frank Patane Jr., Brandon Patane, Justin Patane and Tammy Martin; four great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Pierrette Thomas and Josete Thomas, both of Quebec; several nieces and nephews. Yolanda was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Patane; and her second husband, Ivan Geraw.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
