WASHINGTON and HAYNESVILLE – Barbara F. (Jacobs) Aldrich, 74, died Jan. 6, 2013 at a Washington nursing home. She was born April 28, 1938, in Haynesville, the daughter of Ray and Hilda (Gould) Jacobs. She enjoyed cooking and adored her son, Bruce Aldrich.
In addition to her son, Bruce and his wife, Susan; she is survived by three brothers, Eugene Jacobs and his wife, Gloria, Desmond Jacobs and his wife, Loretta, Elton Jacobs Jr. and his wife, Lori, and Heber Ryder; three sisters, Shirley Bickford, Martha Warman and Rebecca Jones; two grandchildren, Tracy and Christina; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Eldon White and Douglas Jacobs; and one sister, Joann Ellingwood. She also leaves behind her family at Washington Manor.
