SOUTH THOMASTON – Beverly Bodman went to be with the Lord Feb. 25, 2013. Beverly was born July 4, 1929, in Rockland.
She attended Rockland schools and graduated from Rockland High School in 1948. She worked for a number of years in the Rockland office of New England Telephone and Telegraph Co.
Beverly was predeceased by her husband, Charles Bodman; parents, Harold and Eula Gerrish; and sister, Mary Smith. She is survived by her son, Charles Bodman; brothers, Harold Gerrish, Vernon Gerrish and Wayne Gerrish; sister, Violette Orr; and a number of nieces and nephews. Beverly will be remembered by those who loved her as a devoted mother, a loving sister and a faithful friend.
A memorial service for Beverly will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March 8, at Littlefield Memorial Baptist Church. Donations may be made to Knox County Humane Society, Rockland, ME 04841; and memorial gifts may be sent to Littlefield Baptist Church, 1 Waldo Ave., Rockland, ME 04841.
