OLD TOWN – With deep sadness we announce the recent passing of our beloved father, grandfather, son and brother, Jeffrey Paul Dupuis, 53. He was born Dec. 23, 1959, in Old Town, the son of Edgar and Estelle (Martin) Dupuis.
Jeff was educated in Old Town, graduating from Old Town High School with the class of 1978, and subsequently completed vocational technical education in Bangor. The majority of his working career was with the Old Town paper mill, currently called Old Town Fuel and Fiber. Jeff enjoyed his ’80s music, playing card games, gardening and the ocean. He was also a New England sports fanatic.
Jeff is survived by his son, Matthew Dupuis and his wife, Amy, of Eddington; his daughter, Kaleigh Dupuis of Old Town; as well as his very special grandson, Rowan Dupuis. He is also survived by his loving parents, Edgar and Estelle Dupuis of Old Town; his sister, Janice Dennis and her husband, William, of Woodbridge, Va.; his brothers, Robert Dupuis and his wife, Karen, of East Lyme, Conn., Michael Dupuis and his wife, Mary Ellen, of Old Town, Thomas Dupuis of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Mark Dupuis and his wife, Sandra, of Burlington, Vt.; and his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Jeff touched the lives of many people with his smile and sincere good nature, and maintained these loving qualities all his life. He was a proud father of his two children.
