BANGOR, Maine — More than 1,000 Bangor Hydro Electric Co. customers are without power Monday morning after a motor vehicle accident on Broadway.
Spokeswoman Susan Faloon said the outages are affecting the Garland and French street areas. Customers were left in the dark after a vehicle hit a gas pump at the Broadway Circle K station.
The accident was reported just after 8:30 a.m., and motorists in the area are urged to use caution.
Faloon said power is expected to be restored by 1 p.m.
