HOWLAND – Denise Cecile (Michaud) Boober, 48, passed away after a short illness March 14, 2013, at a Bangor hospital, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born April 15, 1964, in Lincoln, the daughter of George and Anne Marie Michaud.
Denise was a very energetic and hard working person. She had a passion for life and all that it gave to her. Denise loved entertaining with family and friends and there are many fond memories of gatherings and times out having fun. She enjoyed her role as a caregiver and helping people in need, as well as her feline friends. Denise attended St. Leo’s parish throughout her life.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Dan Michaud and wife, Jodi, and their children, Corey and Kacie, of Orlando, Fla.; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her dear son, Ryan Boober, in 2005. The family thanks the staff of Eastern Maine Medical Center for their dedication and compassion extended to Denise throughout her illness. The family also extends their gratitude and appreciation to friends and family for their overwhelming support.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, March 18, at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Howland. A reception for friends and family will be after the service in the parish hall. Interment will be in the spring at Catholic Cemetery, West Enfield. Gifts in her memory may be made to the St. Leo’s Catholic Church, 18 River Road, Howland, ME 04448.
