BUCKSPORT – Donald Frank Havel, 51, husband of Debra Ann (Baker) Havel, died peacefully on March 26, 2013, with loved ones by his side. He was born on June 27, 1961, son of the late Donald and Mary Havel.
Donald was a loving husband and PaPa, dedicated Christian, talented musician, casual farmer, professional truck driver/equipment operator, and friend to all. Donald loved people, and he always addressed them by their proper first and last name. He never met a stranger who did not become his instant friend. Once you met Donald, you never forgot him!
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Debra Ann; two sons, Hunter Havel and girlfriend, Cathalina Johnston and Houston and wife, Emily Havel; as well as first grandchild due in September; sister, Susan and her husband, Brian Smith; extended family, and friends galore! A big thanks to the staff and hospice of Eastern Maine Medical Center for all their care and support.
No services at this time. A celebration of Donald’s life will be held at a later date.
