She served as a faithful member of God’s church for more than 40 years, serving as a Sunday school teacher, the bus ministry, social committee worker, prayer warrior, Bible studies, cleaning and many other ways she could serve. Spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren was what she looked forward to with every possible occasion to do so. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends who knew that her relationship with you was a top priority to her.
She is survived by her children, Janice Lamb and husband, Granvill Jr., of Presque Isle, Bernard Dyer and wife, Sandra, of Caribou, Daniel Dyer and wife, Joan, of Chapman and Rick Dyer and wife, Brenda, of Easton; eight grandchildren, Kenneth Lamb, Julie-Ane Brown, Sheri Blackstone, Stacy Thibodeau, Brent Dyer, Andrea Kilcollins, Ashley Dyer and Derek Mendoza; 10 great-grandchildren, Harvey Brown V., Hunter Brown, Sheridan Blackstone, Brendan Blackstone, Elizabeth Dyer, Amelia Dyer, Kyler Caron, Garrett Caron and Walker and Parker Kilcollins, all of which were her delight and the joy of her life. She is also survived by sister, Lula Hughes of Topsham; she also had a very dear God given care giver and friend, Terry Palmer and a very special God given friend, Marla Kovach. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Bernard Dyer Sr., in l996; sisters, Annie Jackson, Violet Adams, Ada Novella Doody, Albertine Thibodeau and Mae Strickland; and brothers, Conrad Walker, William Walker and Joseph Arnold Walker.
Friends and family may call 2-4 p.m. Monday, April 1, at New Song Church, 40 Chandler Road, Presque Isle, where funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. by daughter and husband, pastors Granvill and Janice Lamb and Bernard Brown.
