HERMON – Eleanor A. Thayer, 73, daughter of Madeline Lindsey Richardson and Clyde Lindsey, died April 15, 2013, surrounded by her loving family at her home.
Eleanor loved being home and spending time with her family.
Eleanor was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Alvin. She is survived by three daughters, Laurie and husband, Scott Nowell, of Hermon, Melanie and husband, Terry Shorey, of Levant and Tammi and husband, Keith Moore, of Hermon; six grandchildren, Carrie and husband, Ryan Murray, Eric Nowell, Joshua and wife, Melissa Shorey, Jason Shorey and fiancé, Jaime England and Kyle and Gavin Moore; four great-grandchildren, Evan and Nathan Murray and Benjamin and Emily Shorey; sister, Shirley and husband, Keith Doak; brother-in-law, Charles Thayer; and several nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, she was also predeceased by brother, Robert Lindsey; sister, Charlene Thayer; and stepfather, Ora Richardson.
A graveside service will be held 5 p.m. Thursday, May 9, at Snow’s Corner Cemetery, Hermon.
