SOUTHWEST HARBOR – Ann M. Harkins, 82, died April 28, 2013, in Bar Harbor. She was born May 22, 1930, in Bar Harbor, the daughter of Jay N. and Eleanor G. (Hodgdon) Whitmore.
She is survived by three sons, Andrew J. Harkins Jr. and wife, Merry, of Brunswick, Brian L. Harkins and Michael S. Harkins and wife, Sherry, all of Seal Cove; daughter, Tammy K. Harkins of Bath; 16 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ann was predeceased by two sisters, Faith and Audree.
At Ann’s request there will be no services. Private interment will be at Mount Height Cemetery, Southwest Harbor.
