BREWER – Elizabeth M. Lyford, 97, passed away May 3, 2013. She was born Oct. 13, 1915, in Brewer, the daughter of Ralph and Annie (Fillis) Wentworth.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Albert “Bus” Lyford. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Ferris of Michigan. Elizabeth was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. Gram was truly loved and will be greatly missed.
A private funeral will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main St., Brewer, with the Rev. Roland Nadeau officiating. Family may call 11 a.m. Tuesday until time of funeral. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer.
