BRADLEY – Annette R. (LePage) Lavoie, 92, wife of the late Alban Lavoie, died May 6, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Annette was born Feb. 21, 1921, in Old Town, daughter of Marie Anne (Aubert) and David LePage.
Early in her life she worked at Old Town Shoe shops and then served in the U. S. Army during World War II and attained the rank of Sergeant. After her military service Alban and Annette were married and they lovingly raised seven children at the family home in Bradley. She was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. Ann’s Parish, Bradley.
She is survived by her loving children, Ronald Lavoie and wife, Marge, of Greenbush, Marie Martin and husband, Robert, of Bradley, Pamela McManus and husband, Paul, of Eddington, Susan Tuholski and husband, Gerald, of Holden, Pattie Sirois and husband, Gary, of Old Town, Janet Lavoie of Bradley, James Lavoie and companion, Kathy Noddin, of Old Town; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her loving sisters-in-law, Maryanne Thibodeau, Edwina Thibeault and Theresa DeGrasse; and brother-in-law, Lucien Lavoie and wife, Anne. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years; and daughter-in-law, Joanne Lavoie.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 10, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11, at Resurrection of the Lord, St. Ann’s Parish, 461 Main Road, Bradley. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments in the parish hall following the Mass. Interment will be at a later date at Lawndale Cemetery.
