The family would like to extend a special thanks to Debbie Kranich and Donna Kram, who assisted with their kind ways and expertise as hospice assistants.
Ken leaves behind many wonderful memories of a loving and generous man. He was hard working and devoted. He enjoyed his camp at Smith Pond, which he built, fishing and boating. He was a very generous man, gladly helping anyone who asked. He worked as a carpenter and also built his home on Iron Bridge Road. His career, at Great Northern Paper as a millwright and foreman, was a job he took great pride in as he provided for his family often working a second job. After his retirement he opened Rainbow Antiques on Bates Street. He loved auctions where he met his best friends, Dick and Norma Waceken of Millinocket. Ken had many talents and became known as “The Clockman.” He was self-taught and able to fix watches and antique clocks that no one else could fix. He made several of his own pieces that were done to perfection.
