MILLINOCKET and CLEARWATER, Fla. – Jeannette Marie Manzo, 84, died unexpectedly May 25, 2013, at a Clearwater, Fla., hospital surrounded by her family. She was born Oct. 9, 1928, in St. Agatha, daughter of Leonid and Mabel Marquis.
Jeannette is survived and remembered by her loving husband, Ernest, of Clearwater, Fla.; daughter, Janelle Strange and husband, Tom, of Palm Harbor, Fla.; stepchildren, Thomas Manzo and wife, Shirley, of Maricopa, Ariz., Matthew Manzo of Portland, and Bethany Ash and husband, Hamilton, of Laurel, Mont.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister, Bernadette Barone and husband, John; brothers, Camille Marquis and wife, Camille, and Gilbert Marquis; and loving nieces, nephews and other relatives. Jeannette was predeceased by four brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 9, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church of Christ the Divine Mercy Parish, 19 Colby St., Millinocket.
