PERRY – Phyllis Marie (McPhail) Woodman, 75, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 25, 2013, with her loving and devoted husband by her side. She was born Oct. 13, 1937, in Perry, daughter of Herbert and Bessie McPhail.
She worked at Mearl Corporation and after becoming sick became a stay at home mom. She loved going to church and worshipped at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Eastport. She took great pleasure during her last few months playing bingo at Bangor Nursing and Rehab Center, where the residents and staff became her second family.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by granddaughter, Garrianna; brother, Carroll McPhail; and sister, Lucy Conley. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 55 years, Paul D. Woodman; four children, Betty Johnson and husband, David, of Perry, Paul E. Woodman and wife, Lynn, of Perry, Timothy Woodman and partner, Harrison Ankers, of Bangor and Lisa Small and fiancé, Jeffrey DeWitt, of Ellsworth; seven grandchildren, Jenny Dean and husband, Matthew, of Perry, Coty Batten and wife, Tiffany, of Levant, Kenneth Woodman and wife, Christina, who are stationed in Germany, Clayton Woodman of Perry, Levi Woodman and fiancée, Jessica O’Neal, of Calais, Kaitlyn Small of Portland, and Alexandra Small of Ellsworth; and special great-granddaughter, Jenna Dean of Perry.
A private graveside service is being planned. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Bangor Nursing and Rehab, Activities Department, 103 Texas Ave., Bangor, ME 04401.
