MILLINOCKET – Thomas R. Jameson, 49, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Millinocket Regional Hospital. He was born April 10, 1964, in Millinocket, to the late James W. and Betty E. (Miller) Jameson.
Thomas grew up in Millinocket and was a graduate of Stearns High School, class of 1983. He was an industrial painter by trade, but spent some of his happiest times as a rafting guide in the whitewater rapids on the Kennebec, Dead and Penobscot Rivers.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie A. (Hadden) Jameson; son, Casey Trevor Jameson; daughter, Samantha Leigha Jameson; and daughter of his heart, Cassandra Lynzel Fournier, all of Millinocket; five siblings, Donna Rousseau of Kittery, Jim “Rocky” Jameson and wife, Mary Lou, of West Gardner, Timothy Jameson and wife, Sharon, of New Hampshire, Jeffery Jameson and wife, Lori, of Millinocket and Tracey Ferwerda and husband, Marty, of Old Town; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Thomas will also be missed by his four legged best friend, Thor.
