BIDDEFORD, Maine — A 29-year-old woman is facing a drug charge after she was found in possession of crack cocaine on Thursday, according to police.

Samantha Lamadeleine of Biddeford is facing one charge of aggravated trafficking in crack cocaine, according to Maine Drug Enforcement Agency Commander Scott Pelletier. MDEA agents, Biddeford police and U.S. Marshal’s collaborated Lamadeleine’s arrest for a probation violation Thursday.

Pelletier said Lamadeleine is currently on probation for a previous charge of trafficking in dangerous drugs. An additional charge was levied when drug agents found 5.4 grams of crack cocaine upon her arrest, Pelletier said.

The charge was raised to aggravated due to Lamadeleine possessing the drugs within 1,000 feet of a school at the time of her arrest, according to Pelletier.

She is being held at the Cumberland County Jail on $50,000 cash bail.
