She was active in Knox County Extension and TOPS where she was a leader. She was a member of Second Congregational Church, Warren. Our mom was a very special lady. Her hobbies were crocheting, sewing and any type of craft. She loved playing Skip-BO and “nickels” with anyone. She enjoyed cooking and her specialty was coffee bread, rolls and angel cakes, although anything she baked or cooked was enjoyed by the family. She made sure everyone of her grandchildren received a present on their birthday and at Christmas. We never heard her raise her voice. She was always there for her family.
