BRIDGEWATER – Jeffery Paul Kilcollins, 55, passed away unexpectedly June 4, 2013, at Number Nine Lake. He was born Feb. 22, 1958, in Presque Isle, to Paul and Pauline Kilcollins, the youngest of three children.
Jeff graduated from Central Aroostook High School in 1976. He was a lifelong farmer in Bridgewater, and owned and operated Snow Road Farms. He was a member of Top Ten Growers, 1994-1998. He served on the board of selectmen for the town of Bridgewater and was a member of Agricultural Bargaining Council. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time at his camp at Number Nine Lake. His hobbies included acquiring and restoring antique tractors with Derek, and enjoyed watching the tractor pulls. He loved to fish at his favorite fishing hole at Number Nine Lake. There wasn’t a person that he met that he wouldn’t call a friend.
He was predeceased by his father, Paul Kilcollins, in 2012. He is survived by his mother of Mars Hill; son, Derek Jeffery Kilcollins of Bridgewater; two daughters, Emmi Mitchell and husband, Travis, of Trenton, and their sons, Carleton and Tyler, and Allison Ireland and husband, Michael, of Presque Isle, and their children, Madison, Hailey and Mikey; sister, Carmen Wilde and husband, David, of Davenport, Fla.; brother, Fred Kilcollins of Hermon; nephew, Paul Kilcollins of Hermon; and faithful companion, Freightliner. He will be sadly missed by many, especially his farm crew.
