EAST MILLINOCKET, LINCOLN and WATERBURY, Conn. – Ramona L. (Mushero) Powers Cummings quietly slipped into Jesus’ waiting arms, June 11, 2013, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Her giving spirit touched all she met. She was born Sept. 18, 1938, in Greenbush, daughter of Archie and Maizie (Piper) Mushero.
She is survived by son, Richard and Karen Powers of Staceyville and their three children, Bradley, Jared and Valerie and Bradley’s two children; daughter, Vicki and Daniel Benton of Waterbuy, Conn., and their three children, Katie, Emily and Jay; daughter, Bonnie and Darryl Buller of Severn, Md., and their three children, Mark, Maria and David; and stepson, David and Lois Cummings of Virginia. She came from a family of several siblings, Judith Hilton and husband, John, Dennis and wife, Carol Mushero, Gerald Mushero, James Mushero, Gloria Mushero and Janet Mushero. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and lots of special friends. She was predeceased by her husbands, Richard Powers Sr., and Dennis Cummings.
Friends may call 1 p.m. until the time of service 3 p.m. Friday, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, with the Rev. Daniel Benton and the Rev. Regginal Adams officiating.
