EASTON – Budd B. Nicholson Sr., 62, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Feb. 2, 1951, in Fort Fairfield, son of Owen V. and Ruth Ena (Brittain) Nicholson.
He graduated from Easton High School and attended Husson College. Budd worked as a human resource manager and safety coordinator at Converse Rubber Co., Presque Isle, and then at Mecon Manufacturing, Caribou. He was the founder of Easton ATV Club, serving as president and then as vice president.
He is survived by his wife, Debra (Cray) Nicholson of Easton; son, Budd B. Nicholson Jr., of Blaine; daughter, Heidi Wakefield and husband, Mark, of Larimore, N.D.; sister, Vicki Burtt and husband, Milton, of Easton; and four grandchildren, Kittery and Logan Wakefield and Hunter and Owen Nicholson. Budd was predeceased by his parents.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at Easton Pentecostal Church, Bangor Road, Easton, with Pastor Merritt Durost officiating. Friends may call 11 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment will be at Estes Park Cemetery, Easton.
