HODGDON – Kevin Mullen, 38, died peacefully in his sleep June 17, 2013, at his residence. He was born Feb. 20, 1975, in Natick, Mass., son of James and Barbara Mullen.
Kevin had a great love of animals and worked with them at a dog boarding kennel at one time in New Jersey. He also worked for the U.S. Boundary Commission of Houlton. Kevin was injured in a four-wheeler accident in 2004 but that didn’t stop him from participating in an array of sports including four-wheeling and downhill skiing.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Barbara and stepfather, Glenn Estes of Orient; his father, James of New Hampshire; twin brother, Paul Mullen of Houlton; two beloved nieces, Alana and Lilli Ann both of Houlton; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and he also leaves behind his beloved pets, Snowy and Blade.
Friends may call 11 a.m. Friday, at Dunn Funeral Home, until time of departure for a 1:30 p.m. graveside service at Peter’s Cove Cemetery, Orient, with Pastor Bob Root officiating.
