EAST MACHIAS – Zina L. Eller, 49, passed away unexpectedly June 13, 2013. She was born April 14, 1964, in Rangeley.
She grew up in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and moved to Texas at 14. She later moved to Colorado where she and her husband, Christopher Eller, raised their three children. She and her children moved to Maine in the summer of 1999. Zina had a passion for poetry, music and dancing. She loved her many road trips with her sister, Peggy and best friend, Cindy. She loved to sing and play “horsies” with her granddaughter, Michayla. She enjoyed and cherished all of the times she spent with her friends and family. Anyone that had the pleasure of knowing Zina would say how wonderful and special she was, because she truly was the sweetest, most kindhearted and selfless person you could ever meet. Zina has a very large family comprised of both relatives and friends. There are so many that were touched by her generous and thoughtful nature. She will be sorely missed.
Zina is survived by her brothers and sister, Van Russell, Terry Russell and Peggy Berry; as well as her three children, Nicholas Eller, Brittany Eller and Sheena Dowling; and granddaughter, Michayla Dowling.
There will be a celebration of her life held 2 p.m. Sunday, June 23, at 326 Chases Mill Road, East Machias. Anyone that would like to join us in remembering her is welcome to come.
