MEDWAY – Eva M. Kilton, 81, went home to the arms of Jesus early in the morning of Wednesday, June 19, 2013. She was born June 3, 1932, in Danforth, daughter of Edison and Ella (Lockhart) McCormick.
Eva was a longtime and very active member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God, East Millinocket. She faithfully helped out with Vacation Bible School programs, Missionettes, and any church function. Eva will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by her daughters, Louise Blaisdell of Ellsworth, Darlene Kilton of Medway and Jean Clark of Medway; special friend, Wanda Havey of Franklin; her church family at Calvary Temple; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Eva was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Kilton; and four siblings, Dorothy, Glenda, Nina and Dellis.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 2 Orchard St., East Millinocket, with the Rev. Regginal Adams, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at Grindstone Road Cemetery, Medway. Gifts in memory of Eva may be sent to a fund to help defray funeral expenses to Eva Kilton Memorial Fund, care of EastMil Federal Credit Union, 60 Main St., East Millinocket, ME 04430.
