OLD TOWN – Alcide J. Robichaud, 90, died peacefully June 23, 2013, at a Bangor health care facility. He was born Jan. 12, 1923, in Old Town, a son of Amos and Beatrice (Robichaud) Robichaud.
He was employed for 25 years at the University of Maine. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and enjoyed fishing many spots throughout the State of Maine.
He is survived by sister, Clementine Field of Florida; special nephew, Leo “Butch” Robichaud Jr. and wife, Loretta of Eddington; sister-in-law, Margaret Robichaud of Old Town; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Bertha; his second wife Dora; four brothers, Leo Sr., David, Lionel and Gerard Robichaud; and two sisters, Blandine Thibodeau and Rose Lozier Morin.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, at Parish of the Resurrection, Holy Family Church, Old Town. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
