BUCKSPORT — Army Pfc. Adrian Appleby has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. The son of David Appleby of Bucksport, he is a 2012 graduate of Bucksport High School.

ELLSWORTH — Air Force Airman Tessa Tosch graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. The daughter of Linda Black of Ellsworth, Tosch is a 2006 graduate of John Bapst Memorial High School in Bangor and a 2011 graduate from the University of Maine.
