HAMPDEN – Gerald E. Rudman, 85, passed away July 18, 2013, at home. He was born April 21, 1928, in Bangor, son of Abraham and Irene (Epstein) Rudman.
Gerry graduated Bangor High School, the University of Maine and George Washington School of Law, married Judith Kolker of Baltimore and joined his father in the practice of law, forming what would today become the 30 plus person Bangor firm of Rudman Winchell.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Robert. Surviving in addition to his wife of 61 years, is his brother, Paul of Tucson, Ariz.; and sons, Robert of Anchorage, Alaska, Samuel of Falmouth, and James of Berwyn, Pa.; daughter-in-law, Liz; grandchildren, Abby, Sara, Maddi and Lucy; and four nieces and a nephew.
Relatives and friends are invited for a celebration of his life 11 a.m. July 23, at Beth Israel Synagogue, 144 York St., Bangor.
