BANGOR, Maine — A local transient was arrested early Saturday after she was spotted allegedly urinating in front of a Broadway furniture store, police said.

A witness had called police around 2 a.m. from McDonald’s when they saw Patricia Miller, 55, urinating in the parking lot of the Furniture Gallery, according to Bangor Police Sgt. Paul Edwards.

Apparently Miller had received a trespass warning earlier in the week to stay away from the establishment, according to Edwards.

“She was kind of making her home at the furniture gallery,” said Edwards, noting a cart full of Miller’s belongings was found in the area where she was believed to be urinating.

Miller was arrested and brought to Penobscot County Jail and charged with criminal trespass, Edwards said. She remained in jail Monday.
