GOULDSBORO AND BLUE HILL – Jon Hugh Webber, 82, died Aug. 1, 2013 at his camp in Gouldsboro. He was born Oct. 23, 1930, in Ellsworth, a son of Clyde Chester and Isabel (Falvey) Webber.
Jon graduated from George Stevens Academy. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 to 1953. Jon was the store manager for Sherwin Williams in Ellsworth for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Ashville Church, Eleanor Widener Dixon Clinic Committee, and Maine Coast Memorial Hospital Schoodic Scramble.
He is survived by his wife, Susan E. Young Webber; brothers-in-law, Capt. Richard “Dick” Young and wife, Joyce, and Keith Young; sister-in-law, Mary Flaum; several cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends. He was predeceased by his parents.
