GORHAM – Marilyn Charlotte Merrill Corthell “Pinky” died at Gorham House in Gorham, on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at the age of 86.
Born in Manchester, N.H., Marilyn graduated from Nashua High School and the Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing. Her career included stints as a registered nurse, a full time stay-at-home mother and a small business owner in Whiting.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Kinsman Corthell of Eastport. She is survived by her two daughters, Kerry and Kim Corthell of Scarborough; her son and daughter-in-law, Kinsman and Becky Corthell; and her two grandchildren, Delaney J. and Kinsman R. Corthell, of Bow, N.H.
Marilyn’s remains will be interred alongside her beloved husband at a future date, in Arlington National Cemetery.
