HOULTON – Teresa Joseph “Crow,” 66, died unexpectedly Sept. 13, 2013. She was born May 23, 1947, in Houlton, the daughter of Frank and Mary Louise (Saulis) Joseph.
Teresa was a communicant of Saint Mary of the Visitation Church, member of the Maliseet First Nation and a member of the Passamaquoddy Tribe. She enjoyed Beading, playing Candy Crush Saga and especially going to BINGO with her family. Teresa will be forever remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and a dear friend.
She is survived by five children, Mark and his wife, Brenda Sabatis, of Houlton, Gina Sabatis and husband, Jonathan Merritt, of Virginia, Bobbie Ann Winslow and husband, Kelly Winslow, of Hodgdon, Leonard Sabatis of Houlton, and Frances Sabatis and fiancé, Eric Spencer, of Houlton; three brothers, John Joseph Sr., Anthony Joseph and Thomas Joseph; one sister, Grace Joseph; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Leonard Sabatis “Pumkin”; brothers, Francis, Peter and Carl; and sister, Elizabeth Jewell.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, at Dunn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, at Saint Mary of the Visitation Church, with Father David Raymond celebrant.
