BREWER and BEMIDJI Minn. – John Evans Tucker Sr., 58, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, in Bemidji, Minn. Born Jan. 31, 1955, in Bangor, he was the son of Howard Tucker and Lillian (Foster) Tucker.
John grew up in Brewer and attended Brewer schools. He was employed by Emple Knitting Mill in Brewer before working in various woolen mills in Wisconsin. He settled in Minnesota, working for Bemidji Woolen Mill. John always enjoyed a good day of fishing with family or friends.
John is survived by his partner, Julie Johnson; two children, Erika Tucker and John Tucker Jr.; granddaughter, Jordan Tucker; brother, Edward Tucker; sister, Ellen Butterfield and husband, Arthur; niece, Julie Clewley; and nephew, James Butterfield and their families; the mother of his children, Jennifer Perkins; and aunts, uncle and many cousins. John was predeceased by his father and his mother.
There will be no funeral service.
