HERMON – Terrance Ernest Reynolds, 77, husband of 59 years to Patricia (Leathers) Reynolds, died unexpectedly Sept. 17, 2013, at his home. He was born May 17, 1936, in Garland, son of Victor H. and Greta A. (Drinkwater) Reynolds.
Terry was a graduate of Hermon High School, class of 1954. He was plant manager for Pleasant Hill Dairy for 25 years. Terry was an avid sports fan, especially of the Red Sox, Patriots and N.Y. Giants. He also enjoyed watching the University of Maine Black Bear teams. One of his greatest joys was spending time at the Bangor Raceway, watching harness racing. He would travel all over the state to watch racing.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Pat, are four sons, Timothy Reynolds and his wife, Roxanne, of Brewer, Tony Reynolds and his wife, Becky, of Hermon, Scott Reynolds of Wildwood, Mo., and Christopher Reynolds and his special friend, Michelle Charloux, of Bangor; seven grandchildren, Robert Reynolds and his wife, Meera, of North Reading, Mass., Jerusha Chicoine and her husband, Clint, of New Gloucester, Corey Reynolds and his wife, Erin, of Pittsburgh, Courtney Williams and her husband, Julius, of Bangor, Justin Reynolds of Columbia, Mo., Joshua Reynolds of Rolla, Mo, and Christine Reynolds of Brookline, Mass.; six great-grandchildren, Amelia, Priya, Brody, Weston, Foster, and Lakshmi; three brothers, Ronald Reynolds and his wife, Donna, of Hermon, James Reynolds and his wife, Gaynor, of Hermon, and Steven Reynolds and his wife, Florence, of Levant; sister-in-law, Maggie Reynolds of Beech Hill; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ralph and Madaline Leathers; daughter-in-law, Deborah Reynolds; brother, Dennis Reynolds; and sister, Roberta Reynolds.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Grace Bartlett, officiating. Private interment will be at Snows Corner Cemetery, Hermon.
