THE VILLAGES, Fla. – John R. “Bobby” Henry, 84, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013. He was born July 21, 1929, in Farmingdale, N.Y.
In 2003, he moved from Penobscot to The Villages, Fla. He was a police officer for Nassau County, N.Y. He was a member of Anah Temple Shriners, Bangor, Masonic Lodge No. 2, Penobscot, Bucksmills Rod and Gun Club, and a lifetime member of the NRA.
He is survived by wife, Joan Henry of The Villages, Fla.; daughter, Robin Betsch of Little Rock, Ark.; stepson, Dale R. Boyce of East Islip, N.Y.; stepdaughter, Debra Boyce of Bay Shore, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
