ISLAND FALLS – Constance “Esther” McHugh, 75, died Oct. 2, 2013, in Houlton, with her family at her side. She was born June 21, 1938, in Patten, the daughter of Cyrus and Alexina (Pinette) Campbell.
She was an avid reader, loved puzzles, gardening, country music and spending time with her family. She worked for Ora Ida for over 25 years.
Constance is survived by her five children, Kim Decker and her husband, Mark, of Dover, N.H., Dawn Ryan and her husband, Scott, of Skaneateles, N.Y., Laurie and Paul Breton of Island Falls, Lynne Bukovskey of Somersworth, N.H., and William Sewall and his wife, Theresa, of Milford; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, who knew her as “G.G.”; sisters, Margaret Palmer and her husband, Kirk, of Manchester, and Norma Jean “Butchie” Campbell and her husband, Bruce, of Patten; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Charles “Arden” McHugh; and two sisters, Jerry Little and Irene Lord.
