CHARLOTTE, N.C. and BANGOR – Daniel A. Seay, 43, died peacefully in his sleep, Sept. 26, 2013, at his home. He was born Oct. 22, 1969, in Portland, the son of Bernard and Claudette (Daniel) Seay.
Dan graduated from Bangor High School, class of 1988. Dan worked for Mechanical Services in Bangor, for 19 years, and for Mechanical Systems and Services in Charlotte, N.C.
Dan is survived by his mother, Claudette Seay, of Westbrook; two daughters, Jordan Seay of Charlotte, N.C., and Justyce Seay, of Concord, N.C.; his wife, Christine Seay of Matthews, N.C.; and several aunts and uncles. In addition to his father, Dan was predeceased by his grandmother, Marjorie Jordan.
A reception to celebrate the life of Dan will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at the Family Reception Center, of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor. Interment will be Mount Hope Cemetery.
