EXETER and GARLAND – Harold L. Henderson Sr., 82, died Oct. 8, 2013, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born April 30, 1931, in Exeter, a son of Millard and Elila (Rockwell) Henderson.
He attended Exeter schools, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Harold had been employed as a cutter at the Dexter Shoe Company.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Frances (Feeney) Scott Henderson of Garland; two sons, Harold Henderson Jr. of Bangor, and John and wife, Rileyjo Henderson, of Skowhegan; a sister, Stella and husband, Perley Curtis, of Exeter; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; two aunts; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Henderson; and a sister, Margaret Andrews.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Morses Corner Baptist Church, Corinna, with Pastor Michael Wilbur officiating. Burial will be at Morse’s Corner Cemetery, Corinna.
