MARSHFIELD, MASS., AND VAN BUREN – Roger P. Laplante, 79, passed away October 10, 2013 at a Massachusetts health care facility. He was born in Van Buren on July 15, 1934, son of the late Jean and Alice (Madore) Laplante.
He is survived by one daughter, Lorraine Waters and her husband Mark of Jamaica Plain, MA; two grandchildren, Ashley Waters of Jamaica Plain, MA, and Michelle Martinos of Abington, MA; Four sisters, Alice Violette and Edna Morrow of Van Buren, Jeann D’Arc Reynolds of Hawaii, and Claire Porter of Arizona; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter, Joanne Martinos, two brothers, Willie and John Laplante.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am on Wednesday, October 16 at the St. Bruno-St. Remi Church.
