BANGOR – Eva H. Smith, 99, died Oct. 11, 2013, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born March 26, 1914, in Bradley, the daughter of Willis and Rose (Francis) Rowell.
Eva enjoyed berry picking with her dear friend, Lila, and grilled hot dogs. She worked as a cook in a local hospital for many years.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Mary Crawford; a granddaughter, Vicky Watson and husband, Bruce; and great-grandchildren, Joshua and Bradley. She was predeceased by her first husband, Alexander Clark; second husband, Lawrence Smith; two sisters, Hattie Smith and Frances Treadwell; and special friends, Lila and Doug Davis.
