HUDSON – Roland J. Bush, 82, died Oct. 11, 2013, at a local nursing home. He was born on Feb. 8, 1931, in Dover-Foxcroft, to Cecil and Rose (Nadeau) Bush.
Roland attended school in Dexter and retired from Striar’s Textile Mill in Orono. He was known throughout the state for his live bait business. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping.
Roland is survived by his wife, Joyce V. Bush (Colbath); two daughters, Janet and her husband, Joseph Cannon, and Terri and her husband, Kevin McCullough; one son, David Bush, all of Hudson; and one sister, Jacqueline and her husband, David Webb, of Dover-Foxcroft.
He was predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Rose (Nadeau) Bush; and one brother, Robert Bush of Gary, Ind.
A celebration of his life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Hudson Town Hall.
