LINCOLN – Robert Oliver Bumpus, 72, husband of the late Elaine (Maxwell) Bumpus, died unexpectedly Oct. 28, 2013, at his home. He was born Jan. 2, 1941, in Mattapoisett, Mass., the son of Edward and Mary (Oliver) Bumpus.
Robert was a caring and loving father who would do anything for anyone. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by four children, Theresa Hogan, Lori Tash, Sharon Dubay, and Robert Bumpus; a sister, Ethel Oliveria; and several grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Elaine Bumpus, he was predeceased by a daughter, Robi Bumpus; and a grandson, Erik Tash.
