CARIBOU – Claire St. Peter, 87, the wife of the late Alex St. Peter, passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at a Caribou health care facility. She was born Aug. 7, 1926, in Berlin, N.H., the daughter of Alphonse and Ernestine (Lavertu) Cadorette.
She worked many years as a sales clerk at Miller Department Store in Caribou.
She is survived by three daughters, Dora Theriault and her companion, Reginald Bouthot, Gloria Kelly and her husband, Jim, and Joann Nadeau and her husband, “Butch,” all of Caribou; three sons, Danny St. Peter and his companion, Robin, of North Carolina, David St. Peter of Georgia, and Raymond St. Peter and his companion, Trina, of Caribou; a sister, Rita Damboise of West Hartford, Conn.; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years; an infant daughter, Lorraine; and three sons, Roland, Reynold, and Bobby St. Peter.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood, North Caribou, with the Very Rev. Jean Paul Labrie Celebrant.
