MONTICELLO – Dorafray M. DeWitt, 87, died peacefully at her residence with her daughters and niece, April, at her side Nov. 3, 2013. She was born May 14, 1926, in Auburn, the daughter of Roy and Millie (Ellis) Miller.
Dorafay enjoyed the out of doors sitting on her deck, she quilted, knit and did word search looking forward to visits from family and friends.
She is survived by four sons, Walter and Gloria of Monticello, Robert and Donna of Lisbon, Roy and Patty of Durham, and Michael and Camilla Robinson of Lakeland, Fla.; two daughters, Laura Foster and husband, Deverne, and Veronica Cole and husband, Steve, all of Monticello; 25 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Thelma of Pownal and Jackie of Indiana. She was predeceased by two sons, William and Gregory; brother, Sonny; and sisters, Gloria, Claudine, and Maxine.
Friends may call 1 p.m. until time of service held 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Dunn Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Gardiner. Interment will be at Monticello Jewell Cemetery.
