MASCOUTAH, ILL. – Geraldine Winona Turnbull, 78, born March 17, 1935, in Washburn, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Mrs. Turnbull was a childcare giver and an avid square and round dancer.
She was predeceased by her parents, William and Elizabeth (Doherty) White; her brothers, Eugene, Maurice, Malcolm, Alden, and Milford; her sisters, Gwendolyn and Phyllis; and her grandson, Nathan Turnbull.
Surviving are her husband, Louis Turnbull of Mascoutah, Ill., whom she married on May 1, 1953 in Washburn; her children, Louis (Arlene) Turnbull Jr., Cynthia (Dave Burmester) Minder, both of Mascoutah, Ill., and William (Janice) Turnbull of Dunedin, Fla.; her brothers, William (Carol) White of Washburn, and Bernard (Barbara) White of Mars Hill; her sister, Shirley Brown of Caribou; her grandchildren, Christina, Sarah, Jennifer, Alexander, Emily, Jamie, and Tritan; her great-grandchildren, Angel, Dakota, Cheyenne, and Jacob; and nieces, nephews, and many friends.
