BANGOR – Rodney B. Braley, 58, passed away November 23, 2013, due to advanced stage cancer. Rodney was born in Hudson, Aug. 28, 1955, the son of Ernest Braley and Katherine (Babb) Braley.
Rodney worked for Striars, Orono Roofing Corp, Elk River Company, as well as Dow Asphalt Paving for 20 years, and Old Town Taxi. Rodney was a hard worker all his life, he had a big heart and never complained about anything. He loved life and went above and beyond to make others smile.
Rodney is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Elizabeth (Wain) Braley; his children, Rodney Braley and wife, Sara, Crystal and her partner, Jason, Chris and his partner, Janelle, Carrie and Brian; special “adopted” daughter, Heather McLaughlin; his grandchildren, Nathanal, Bryleigh, Kaycee, Jaren, Tahlia and Kayden; siblings, David and his wife, Gloria, Douglas, Mark and his partner, Joy, Dale and his wife, Peggy, Evelyn and her husband, Gary, Colleen and her husband, Duane, and Collette, all of Glenburn, and Melody and her husband, Fred of Corinth; and his special brother-in-law, Timothy Wain and his wife, Dina, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. He was predeceased by a grandson, Colin, and a brother, Dwight.
Private family services were held at the Braley home with Rev. Garnett Chute officiating.
