PATTEN and HOULTON – Doris Ada Shaw, 81, died Dec. 8, 2013, in Houlton. She was born Nov. 21, 1932, in Hersey, the daughter of Solomon and Ressie (Botting) Shaw.
Doris loved life in general. She was known for her chats and her jokes.
She is survived by her son, Mike Shaw and his wife, Catherine, of Patten; two grandchildren, Tiffany of Sherman and Todd of Patten; seven great-grandchildren; a stepgranddaughter, Teresa of Patten; two great-stepgrandchildren; a great-great-stepgranddaughter; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; five brothers; and six sisters. A special thanks to Madigan Estates staff for their wonderful service and thoughtfulness.
